Only Granddaddy Knew the Secret Recipe

Welcome home to Granddaddy's famous backyard barbeque... where there's always something cookin' on the grill. As a matter of fact, that's how it all started three generations ago when Granddaddy would fire up the ol' b-b-q and invite the family neighbors and friends over for some of his secret barbeque sauce on top of a combination of chicken & ribs.

Today that same secret recipe is used in a variety of sauces mild, mustard, and hot. Restaurant operator, Michael Parparian says, “We slow cook our meats for about 15 hours over wood and that slow cooking makes the meat fall right off the bone.” We also make all our side dishes fresh daily and hand-cut potatoes for our French fries. Another favorite is the “Granddaddy Onion” which I’ve been making for over 30 years.”

The menu includes your favorite sandwiches: BBQ Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Pulled Chicken, Pulled Rib,  or Sausage Dog. The dinner plates include the same tasty selection of meats plus our mouth watering BBQ Grilled Shrimp. And of course, Granddaddy serves up a combination of two or three meats, along with a pair of side trimmin’s and garlic bread. Side dishes include: hand-cut fries, homemade tater salad, corn-on-the-cob (on a stick), bbq baked beans, steamed vegetables, cole slaw, spiced apples and more.

As you’d expect we have a complete kid’s menu and Nana’s favorite fresh baked desserts: Chocolate Pecan Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Peanut Butter Pie, and Fresh Cobbler of the day with a scoop of ice cream.

The atmosphere is Welcome Home… from the front porch – complete with picnic tables, to the get-in-line and order and pull-up your favorite chair, booth, or enjoy back porch dining where you’ll find a 50” flat screen tv along with a half dozen other tv monitors throughout the entire restaurant. Just like Granddaddy would say, “Ya’ll be sure to come back for more – and bring your friends.”
